The friend, who happens to be a real life friend chosen through Facebook or e-mail, also participates on their end and will be able to add their own unique spin to the gameplay. To win the game, players must react to it in a real time fashion as they attempt to follow the villain's instructions for a certain number of real-time days. says Joel Erickson, the game's designer. &ldquo;I think gamers are going to be amazed by the level of reality and interaction that The Hostage Trials achieves as they play.&rdquo;<br /><br />David Hayter, an actor, writer, and director who plays the game's villain, is best known for his voice work as Solid Snake from the long running Metal Gear Solid series for the Sony Playstation.<br /><br />&ldquo;When you get the opportunity to work on something as creatively groundbreaking and technologically cutting edge as The Hostage Trials, what can you say but 'Hell yes'?,&rdquo;
